Helmut W. Rodenhausen, born in 1948, is a freelance ghostwriter and copywriter. He works in corporate communications, writing speeches for CEOs, board members, mayors, university presidents, etc. He also coaches and implements book projects.
Helmut Rodenhausen has been a die-hard Mac user since 1981 and has been working with RagTime since 1989. In the distant past, he studied typography in depth and wishes he had had a few more weeks to perfect the typography of this book.

Thomas Kaegi, born in 1941, graduated from ETH Zurich with a degree in electrical engineering and industrial engineering, but switched to the world of computers early on. In 1987, he was involved in the introduction of a new corporate identity for an international corporation. At the time, RagTime was the only software that could correctly handle texts in multiple languages in the same document, which led to its standardization within the company. As an enthusiastic user, he persistently reported any errors he found to RagTime, making him one of the most active beta testers of all versions since RagTime 4.
Thomas Kaegi is known to all participants in the RagTime forum: he regularly provides tips and guidance, especially in the area of complex formulas. He has taught RagTime courses in Germany and Switzerland, both privately and with a specific focus on customer needs. Thomas Kaegi is the owner of the company «ragtime-consult.ch GmbH». He has created RagTime documents for customers from a wide range of industries, in some cases handling the entire process via email.
