RagTime 6.5 can be installed and used on Windows 7 without any restrictions. Just make sure to quit the installer prior to start the application.

There is a RagTime 6.5 Update available for Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Due to immediate help from Apple our development team was able to fix the bug, that prevented opening RagTime files by double clicking, dragging the file onto the application icon or by AppleScript. Beside the now fixed issue RagTime 6.5 works perfect with the new Mac OS X 10.6 operating system. Download the update installer free of charge.

Infographix presented RagTime 6.5 at the salon maitrise doeuvre, a fair for architects and engineers held on September 9th and 10th in Lyon.

Beginning of June the newly founded Infographix SARL has started as a new RagTime distributor in France. A team of experienced IT-professionals will communicate the benefits of RagTime 6.5 to french IT-Managers, resellers and VARs specialized in business-to-business sales.

RagTime 6.5 has been presented at the „mac at camp“-meeting in Naumburg (12.-16.08.2009), Germany. As Premium-Partner Friedrich Eul and his team presented RagTime as reporting-tool for data bases. You will find here first impressions and feedback within the next days.

RagTime documents can be exported to PDF. By default, Adobe Distiiler is utilized both on Windows and Mac OS X. Distiller is the best choice for the printing industry, but comes with an additional price tag. However, there are cost-free alternatives, if the PDF is to be used on the monitor, in the web, or to be printed on a desktop printer only. Mac OS X has its own built-in PostScript to PDF converter. And for Windows GhostScript distributed with the GNU General Public License can be used. The later is no part of RagTime, but has to be installed separately.

First time you start RagTime, you'll be asked to have a look at the "First Steps in RagTime" document. This document shows you how to work with frames, spreadsheet and layout. However, if you are a real RagTime pro, you'll note this is a really tricky SlideTime document. Try to hack it!
